Ohio Tint Exemption

Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using Ohio Tint Exemption. By submitting an application, you agree to these terms.

Last updated: June 2, 2026

1. The Service

Ohio Tint Exemption provides an online intake and document-review service that connects Ohio drivers with licensed physicians, in partnership with MyEyeRx, for the purpose of evaluating eligibility for a window tint medical exemption. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice.

2. No Guarantee of Approval

Submitting an application and paying the consultation fee does not guarantee approval. Whether an exemption is supported is determined solely by an independent licensed physician based on the medical documentation you provide and the requirements of Ohio law. Many conditions are commonly associated with approval, but eligibility is always evaluated case by case. We do not influence the physician's clinical judgment.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, a licensed driver (or the intended driver of the vehicle), and provide accurate, truthful information. Submitting false information or fraudulent documentation may result in denial and forfeiture of fees.

4. Payment & Refunds

The best way to avoid losing your payment is to call us BEFORE you pay and confirm that your medical documentation qualifies. It is your responsibility to have legitimate medical records, a doctor's note, or specialist documentation that supports your qualifying condition. If you are unsure whether your paperwork is acceptable, call us before paying and we will verify it — this protects you from purchasing a service you cannot use.

  • The consultation fee for Ohio is $250, charged at the time of submission through our payment processor (Clover).
  • If you purchase this service without acceptable medical documentation to support your condition, your application will be denied and no refund will be issued — all sales are final in that case. This is why we strongly encourage you to call and verify your documentation before paying.
  • Any refund that is approved is returned to your original payment method.

5. Your Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate medical and contact information.
  • Keep your issued exemption documentation in your vehicle as required by Ohio law.
  • Comply with all applicable traffic and vehicle-equipment laws.
